Changing Patterns and Healing Wounds
Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, there is hope. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. It takes courage to make the decision that something isn't working and pursue take the steps toward growth and change. In my sessions I promote emotional and behavioral transformation by creating awareness and insight to change behavior patterns, reactions and heal emotional wounds.
I specialize in treatment of trauma, dissociation and substance abuse. I am trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy and Moral Reconation Therapy. I have also completed advanced training courses in the treatment of trauma and complicated grief through the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies. I stay up to date on research and best practices to offer the best services to my clients to produce the best results.
Generally, I take a psychodynamic approach to therapy. However, based on your needs, we may incorporation principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other theoretical approaches that would best address your specific problems or symptoms. The most important factor in therapy, though, is the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client so I approach all of my sessions with authenticity and unconditional care.

In individual counseling we will identify your goals and how to best achieve them. Individual therapy is collaborative. We will work together to determine areas for growth to better your life, mood and mental health and overcome obstacles. Therapy services are offered in person and online.
Play with Purpose
Working with children involved play and specific techniques to understand the inner workings of children and adolescents and understand struggles.
